Malaga Pipeline Project

On the Malaga Pipeline Project, we installed a new $18 million pipeline in southeastern New Mexico -- 10 miles of 12-inch steel transmission pipe. Located near the community of Loving south of Carlsbad, it connects to the Pecos Valley Mainline.

The Malaga pipeline linked our Southeast transmission system to newly constructed natural gas processing plants, providing access to reliable gas supply while also diversifying our supply and improving system operations.

The Malaga Pipeline went into service at the end of 2020.
